The Child Life Program is about helping children through the many challenging facets of the cancer treatment process. They are an incredible program that also provides support through birthday celebrations, play, holiday observances, and the dealing with the stress of cancer for both parents and children alike.
I would like to first extend my sincerest gratitude to Mr. and Mrs. Ken & Katie Beatty for giving me the opportunity to participate but also teaching me more about what this incredible program does.Second, I would like to express to the children and their families, that it was an honor to donate to this program and provide some warmth thru threads during this difficult time. Your bravery is amazing and I cannot express the amount of pure humility I feel as a result of learning about the challenges you face.
Lastly, my thanks to the Child Life Program for providing an outlet for children and their families so they can find the support they need to get through the cancer treatment process.
